Exploits University is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill the following position:
Duties
- Selecting, developing, cataloging and classifying library resources
- Ensuring that library services meet the needs of staff and students
- Conducting library orientation programs for lecturers and students
- Managing digital library and assisting library users in using electronic information resources
- Designing and delivering information literacy programs to library users
- Ensuring that there is adequate physical and virtual and research resources to meet Faculty and student needs within assigned budget;
- Preparing inter-library loan agreements with other libraries
- Managing copyright licenses and other relevant agreements;
- Conduct bibliographic searches to support user and organizational information needs;
Qualifications And Experience:
The ideal applicants must have:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Library and Information Science from accredited Universities
- A minimum of one year professional experience in an academic library
- Work experience in using library automated system such as Koha
