Duties and responsibilities:
Duties and responsibilities, among others:
- Assist the firm’s clients in legal advisory work to resolve complex legal issues in various areas of law;
- Prepare appropriate legal documentation for court proceedings;
- Represent the firm’s clients in court proceedings in the Malawi Supreme Court of Appeal, High Court and all courts subordinate thereto.
- Represent the firm in meetings with clients where the extent of the legal practitioners’ expertise may be needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Law from a recognized university: Admitted to Practice and should have a valid practicing license;
- Minimum of two (2) years of post-admission experience in a private law firm;
- Should have a valid driver’s license.
Remuneration:
An attractive remuneration commensurate with the successful candidate’s qualifications and experience.
