Vacancy for Legal Operations Technician

Tiderise Technologies Inc. is looking for a Legal Operations Technician will be instrumental in the implementation of our vision, strategy, and roadmap for our service channels. There will be opportunities to make a deep impact in our market space, and the local community.

The priority for the Legal Operations Technician will be completing tasks as assigned, in an accurate and efficient manner. The Legal Operations Technician will also work on other projects as deemed appropriate.

The Legal Operations Technician’s duties and responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

File Management

Organizing / saving / document management of all signed contracts
Keeping Contract works up to date – uploading, tagging (with support from Legal), keeping track of deadlines, and expiring contracts and pinging appropriate ‘tool owner’ when a deadline or expiration is approaching
Confirming when something sent by a third party is good to sign, which would include:
Running redlines to make sure the DocuSign from the third party matches the latest/final version of the agreement in our records
Confirming all internal stakeholder approvals have been obtained (via Tropic or otherwise)
Uploading final/signed versions of contracts to the appropriate Jira ticket/Tropic ticket and closing out those tickets as complete
DocuSign

Sending DocuSigns (with the Legal team’s direction/oversight)
Assistance in building out a ‘how to’ training asset with FAQs (i.e., What do I do if I made an error on a DocuSign that’s already been sent?)
Sharing DocuSign templates with users as needed
Finance

Working with finance to draft demand letters, prepare banking forms, etc.
Miscellaneous

Setting up users on Contract works, Tropic, DocuSign, etc. as needed, and providing links to various training resources
NDAs (if closer to the paralegal spectrum)
Provide assistance on building out legal documentation/assets
Qualifications and Experience

·       Diploma in Legal Studies

·       Up to 2 years’ work experience in the relevant field

·       Self-starter and ability to work independently

·       Strong skills in prioritization, organization, and attention to detail

·       Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, and experience with legal software.
