recruit qualified and suitable persons to fill the following vacant positions tenable at Malamulo College of Health Sciences campus;
Position: Lecturers in Surgery, Medicine and Paediatrics (5 Positions)
Reporting to: Head of Clinical Medicine Department
Duties and Responsibilities:

- Planning, preparing and facilitating student learning in class, skills laboratory and clinical area
- Conducting assessment of students both formative and summative
- Participating in curriculum review and development activities and other academic meetings
- Providing an academic support to students in research proposal drafting, defending as well as in conducting research projects and dissertation defence
- Conducting research, writing research papers and scholarly articles in enhancing one’s professional development; and
- Carrying out any other duties as assigned by the Head of Department or higher office
Requirements:

- A Bachelor of Science in Surgery, Pediatrics, MBBS or any other related qualification obtained from a recognized and accredited university.
- Must be registered with Medical Council of Malawi.
- A higher qualification is an added advantage.
- A minimum of two (2) years teaching experience at a secondary or tertiary healthy facility or an academic institution.
- Ability to work with minimum supervision and with good communication skills.
