1. LECTURERS AND SENIOR LECTURERS
A) Lecturer: Banking and Finance (Undergraduate)
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Play a significant role in developing academic initiatives within the Faculty.
- Teach Banking and Finance subjects effectively through various instructional methods.
- Contribute to program development and quality assurance.
- Engage in research, consultancy, and transnational education activities.
- Lead modules and support departmental administration.
- Act as a personal tutor and assist in student recruitment efforts.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s Degree in Banking and Finance from an accredited university.
- 3-5 years of teaching experience at the undergraduate level.
B) Lecturer: Marketing (Undergraduate)
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead academic activities within the Marketing team.
- Teach Marketing subjects through lectures, workshops, and seminars.
- Assist in program development to maximize student success and employability.
- Participate in research, consultancy, and international engagement activities.
- Lead modules and manage departmental administrative tasks.
- Support student recruitment and act as a personal tutor.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Chartered Marketer with a Master’s Degree in Marketing from an accredited university.
- 3-5 years of teaching experience at the undergraduate level.
C) Lecturers: Public Administration (Undergraduate)
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead academic activities within the Public Administration team.
- Teach Public Administration subjects through lectures, workshops, and seminars.
- Assist in programme development to maximize student success and employability.
- Participate in research, consultancy, and international engagement activities.
- Lead modules and manage departmental administrative tasks.
- Support student recruitment and act as a personal tutor.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s Degree in Public Administration from an accredited university.
- 3-5 years of teaching experience at the undergraduate level
D) Lecturers: Entrepreneurship (Undergraduate)
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead academic activities within the Entrepreneurship team.
- Teach Entrepreneurship subjects through lectures, workshops, and seminars.
- Assist in programme development to maximize student success and employability.
- Participate in research, consultancy, and international engagement activities.
- Lead modules and manage departmental administrative tasks.
- Support student recruitment and act as a personal tutor.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s Degree in Entrepreneurship from an accredited university.
- 3-5 years of teaching experience at the undergraduate level
2. PROFESSOR AND ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR
A) Media and Mass Communication. (Postgraduate)
Duties and Responsibilities
- Curriculum Development: Lead the development and enhancement of the Media and Mass Communication curriculum for the Master’s program, ensuring the integration of current industry trends and academic standards.
- Teaching and Instruction: Deliver high-quality lectures, seminars, workshops, and tutorials in Media and Mass Communication subjects, utilizing a variety of teaching methods to engage students effectively.
- Research and Publication: Conduct advanced research in the field of Media and Mass Communication, contributing to peer-reviewed journals, conferences, and academic publications.
- Supervision of Dissertations: Guide and supervise Master’s students in their research projects and dissertations, providing academic support and mentorship throughout the process.
- Module Leadership: Take responsibility for the planning, delivery, and assessment of assigned modules, ensuring alignment with program objectives and quality assurance standards.
- Industry Engagement: Foster strong links with media industry partners to support program development, student internships, and research opportunities.
- Academic Administration: Participate in departmental meetings, contribute to policy development, and assist in program management and quality assurance activities.
- Mentorship and Advising: Act as a personal tutor to students, offering guidance on academic and career-related issues and addressing student concerns effectively.
- Student Recruitment and Outreach: Support marketing and recruitment activities for the Media and Mass Communication program, including participation in open days and outreach events.
- Professional Development: Stay up to date with developments in the media industry and higher education, enhancing teaching practices and contributing to the department’s growth.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Ph.D. in Media and Mass Communication or any PhD in related field from an accredited university.
- At least 5 years of teaching experience at the Master’s level, with a strong background in research and industry practice
B) Strategic Management. (Postgraduate)
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Program Development: Lead the development and continuous improvement of the Strategic Management curriculum for postgraduate programs, incorporating contemporary theories and practices.
- Teaching and Instruction: Deliver engaging and effective lectures, seminars, and workshops in Strategic Management, utilizing case studies, simulations, and other innovative teaching methods.
- Research and Scholarly Activity: Conduct high-level research in Strategic Management, publishing findings in reputable academic journals and presenting at conferences to enhance the department’s academic reputation.
- Student Supervision: Guide and supervise postgraduate students in their research projects, dissertations, and case study analyses, providing mentorship and academic support throughout the research process.
- Module Leadership: Oversee the planning, delivery, and assessment of Strategic Management modules, ensuring they meet the learning objectives and quality assurance standards.
- Consultancy and Industry Engagement: Engage in consultancy projects and establish strong links with industry partners, leveraging these connections to inform teaching and offer students practical insights.
- Academic Administration: Participate in program management, including module coordination, student assessment, and contribution to departmental meetings and quality assurance processes.
- Student Advising: Act as an academic advisor to postgraduate students, assisting with course selection, career planning, and addressing any academic issues.
- Professional Development: Keep up to date with the latest trends in Strategic Management, integrating new insights and frameworks into teaching practices.
- Student Recruitment and Outreach: Support student recruitment efforts, participate in open days, and contribute to marketing activities to attract high-caliber students to the program.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Ph.D. in Strategic Management or a related field from an accredited university.
- A minimum of 5 years of teaching experience at the postgraduate level, with a strong track record in research, consultancy, and industry engagement.
