Pentecostal Life University (PLU), a Higher Education Institution recognized, registered and accredited by the National Council for Higher Education (NCHE) invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates to fill the following challenging positions:

 

LECTURERS

A) Human Resource Management (Undergraduate)

Duties and responsibilities

  • To play a key role in developing the range of academic activities within the HRM and Leadership team.
  • To teach effectively on the Department’s programmes, particularly in the subject areas of Human Resource Management through the provision of lectures, workshops, seminars and other means as appropriate.
  • To assist in the development of programmes, subject materials and teaching and learning methods in such a way as to maximise student retention, progression and achievement, and employability, ensuring quality assurance and enhancement.
  • To undertake professional activities in research and/or consultancy as appropriate.
  • To undertake Module Leadership.
  • To engage with transnational education, international development, partnership and reach out activity.
  • To undertake administration related to the operation of the Department’s programmes.
  • To act as personal tutor to students in the Department and to deal with referred issues.
  • To support student recruitment activities, such as open days.
  • To engage in external engagement as appropriate for the benefit of students and the reputation of the Department and Faculty.

 

Qualification and experience
Applicants must have 3-5 years of teaching at Undergraduate level backed up by a Degree of Master’s in Human Resource Management from an accredited University.

 

B) Community Development (Undergraduate)

Duties and responsibilities

  • To play a key role in developing the range of academic activities within the Faculty
  • To teach effectively on the Department’s programmes, particularly in the subject areas of Community Development through the provision of lectures, workshops, seminars and other means as appropriate.
  • To assist in the development of programmes, subject materials and teaching and learning methods in such a way as to maximise student retention, progression and achievement, and employability, ensuring quality assurance and enhancement.
  • To undertake professional activities in research and/or consultancy as appropriate.
  • To undertake Module Leadership.
  • To engage with transnational education, international development, partnership and reach out activity.
  • To undertake administration related to the operation of the Department’s programmes.

  • To teach effectively on the Department’s programmes, particularly in the subject areas of Banking and Finance through the provision of lectures, workshops, seminars and other means as appropriate.
  • To assist in the development of programmes, subject materials and teaching and learning methods in such a way as to maximise student retention, progression and achievement, and employability, ensuring quality assurance and enhancement.
  • To undertake professional activities in research and/or consultancy as appropriate.
  • To undertake Module Leadership.
  • To engage with transnational education, international development, partnership and reach out activity.
  • To undertake administration related to the operation of the Department’s programmes.

D) Marketing (Undergraduate)

Duties and responsibilities

  • To play a key role in developing the range of academic activities within the Faculty
  • To teach effectively on the Department’s programmes, particularly in the subject areas of Marketing through the provision of lectures, workshops, seminars and other means as appropriate.
  • To assist in the development of programmes, subject materials and teaching and learning methods in such a way as to maximise student retention, progression and achievement, and employability, ensuring quality assurance and enhancement.
  • To undertake professional activities in research and/or consultancy as appropriate.
  • To undertake Module Leadership.
    To engage with transnational education, international development, partnership and reach out activity.
  • To undertake administration related to the operation of the Department’s programmes.
  • To act as personal tutor to students in the Department and to deal with referred issues.
  • To support student recruitment activities, such as open days.
  • To engage in external engagement as appropriate for the benefit of students and the reputation of the Department and Faculty.

 

Qualification and experience
Applicants must have 3-5 years of teaching at Undergraduate level, Chartered Marketer, backed up by a Degree of Master’s in Marketing from an accredited University.
