Lecturer/ Senior Lecturer/ Associate Professor/ Professor in Geography Education – (1 position)

Qualifications and Attributes

Applicants should possess the following qualification and attributes:

• Candidates applying for the Lecturer position must hold a Master’s degree or PhD in Geography Education, along with a relevant Bachelor’s degree with minimum award of credit.

• For the post of Senior Lecturer, Associate Professor, or Professor, candidates must have must provide evidence of their research experience as well as appropriate number of publications (either books or articles in refereed journals) n addition to meeting the required minimum qualifications listed above.

• Must have a minimum of two years teaching experience at a recognized University or an equivalent institution.

Duties and Responsibilities

The successful candidate will contribute to the teaching of Geography Education courses at all levels, carry out research in Geography Education, supervise students’ teaching practice and research projects, be part of academic consultants within the broader areas of the department, and participate in outreach activities.
