Lecturer/Senior Lecturer/Associate/ Professor/Professor in Entrepreneurship in the Department of Entrepreneurship and Creative Industries (UM 7) (1 position)

 

Qualifications and Attributes

Applicants should possess the following qualifications and attributes:

• Candidates applying for the Lecturer position must hold a Master’s or PhD in Entrepreneurship or related field along with a Bachelor’s degree in a related field with a minimum award of credit.

• For the positions of Senior Lecturer, Associate Professor, or Professor, candidates must have a strong record of publications in their area of expertise and demonstrate initiative in research, community outreach, and engagement, in addition to meeting the minimum qualifications listed above.

• A proven track record of academic excellence, industry experience, or research in entrepreneurship and the creative industries.

• Demonstrable expertise in designing and delivering entrepreneurship curricula.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Teaching, setting and timely marking examinations for undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in drama and theatre courses

• Supervise undergraduate/postgraduate research projects and provide academic mentorship to students.

• Scholarly peer-reviewed publications for the advancement of oneself and the profile of the Department, the school and the University

• Promote experiential learning and hands-on entrepreneurial training.

• Contribute to the formulation and implementation of the departmental strategy.

• Support quality assurance and curriculum development initiatives.

• Conduct original research in entrepreneurship and publish in reputable journals.

• Develop innovative teaching methodologies and materials.

• Foster partnerships with industry players and community stakeholders.

• Organize and participate in entrepreneurship seminars, workshops, and conferences.

• Seek funding opportunities to support departmental projects and initiatives.

• To take up tasks and duties as assigned by the Head of Department, the Executive Dean, and the Vice Chancellor.

Adjunct Positions
