The role holder will have Sales and Account Management ownership to the Wholesale customers (Mobile Operators, Carriers, OTTs and ISPs). He / She will be responsible for hunting new prospects and managing penetration strategy, ensures achievement of the Sales & Revenue targets by selling Wholesale products & services.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for achieving revenue targets as per Wholesale business objectives of the country and developing strong relationships with the customers at Key Decision Maker’s level.
  • Development of a sales pipeline
  • Increase Account and Product penetrations
  • Identify growth opportunities, up-selling and cross – selling potential
  • Position international submarine capacity and terrestrial fiber capacity to generate revenues in line with wholesale services
  • Owns Business accounts, responsible for understanding and anticipating customer requirement, mapping competition and positioning Airtel Africa Wholesale Services as the preferred service provider for the account.
  • Manage relationships with internal and external cross-functional stakeholders to meet the needs of the business
  • Build strategic relationship with key decision makers in the accounts- Middle and Senior management, including CXOs

Qualifications

  • A recognized University Degree in a Business-related field; Master of Business Administration degree is an added advantage.
  • Understanding of geography and network is a must with sound knowledge of wholesale services like IPLC, MPLS, IP Transit, etc.
  • At least 4-5 years’ B2b work experience in the telecommunications sector preferably in Wholesale Business
