Chatonda is urgently seeking to recruit a secondary school teacher to fill the following vacant position:
LANGUAGE TEACHER – ENGLISH AND CHICHEWA
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The candidate will be expected to perform the following duties and responsibilities:
1. Designing and planning lessons that align with educational standards and meet the needs of students.
2. Delivering engaging lessons using a variety of teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles.
3. Creating, administering, and grading assessments to evaluate student progress and understanding.
4. Establishing and maintaining a positive, orderly classroom environment conducive to learning.
5. Providing guidance and support to students, including academic counseling and addressing individual needs.
6. Participating in or leading extracurricular activities, such as clubs, sports, or school event
7. Ensuring adherence to school policies, educational regulations, and safety guidelines.
REQUIREMENTS
a) Minimum of degree or diploma in a related field from accredited college/university.
b) At least two years working experience on the same position
c) A Malawian with evidence of national identity
