The Local Government Service Commission is inviting applications from suitably qualified Malawians for the following vacancies existing at Nkhata Bay District Council.
POST: Land Surveyor
Grade: M6
Qualifications:
Applicants must be serving Senior Assistant Land Surveyors (Grade M7) with a minimum of four (4) years’ experience at that grade in the Local Authorities or in possession of a Bachelor’s degree in Land Surveying obtained from accredited institution.
Duties
i The valuation of estates and their economic use.
ii Ensure adherence to land bye-laws.
iii Use equipment and tools to accurately measure land features
iv Build Maps, sketches and charts
v Collaborate with engineers and architects on several projects.
vi Any other duties
