Air Cargo Malawi Limited (ACM) is astate-owned Company with offices at Kamuzu and Chileka International Airports.The mandate of ACM is to ‘’provide safe and reliable carriage of goods by air, ancillary services and promote any commercial activity beneficial to the business of the company’’.
Applications are invited from suitably qualified individuals to fill the following vacancies:
IT TECHNICIAN – (Grade AC 7)
Reporting to the Treasury Accountant
Major Duties and Responsibilities
1. Ensures network availability to all users, maintaining services and ministering access right
2. Responsible for maintenance and troubleshooting of IT and related office equipment.
3. Performs installation, maintenance, troubleshooting upgrading of Operating systems and user applications.
4. Keep track of license renewal and other support contracts
5. Maintains local server-based antivirus software for all affected computers.
6. Trains users on various aspects of ICT
7. Installs and configures all the computers and other peripherals.
8. Coordinates the ICT budget for the company in liaison with line managers and assists with procurement of ICT items.
9. Performs other ICT-related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s Degree in ICT/ Computer Sciences from a recognized training institution.
- 3 years relevant work experience
- Those with SAGE and payroll system experience will have an added advantage
- Be of high integrity and without a criminal record

OR
- Diploma in ICT/ Computer Sciences in recognized training Institution
- 5 Years experience
- Those with sag and payroll system experience will have added advantage
