Job Description

CIP Malawi and partners has been implementing a project namely, Root and Tuber Crops for Agricultural Development in Malawi (RTC-ACTION) from 1st April 2016 to 31st March 2022. The project was part of Irish Aid’s Strategy for Malawi (2016-20), with a focus on improving food security, nutrition and income. A total of 162,000 (against a target of 160,000) small holder farmers in 22 districts of Malawi were reached with quality planting materials of potato, sweet potato and cassava. The project is currently in a bridging year (1st April 2022 to 31st March 2023).
Objectives:
  • To provide professional technical assistance to provide support RTC project as well as office support.
Activities
  • Review and update laptops and other equipment inventory
  • Provide ICT support to RTC and CIP-Malawi
  • Provide technical support to data entry interns
  • Any other duties that may be assigned by the supervisor

Requirements

Qualifications/special skills
  • Bachelor’s degree or technical degree in computer or systems engineering
  • Desktop support/Asset management/Azure AD MDM
  • Experience working with computer inventory and management in a corporate environment
  • IT Technical support, support end users
