IRRIGATION AGRONOMIST (GRADE I/M6)
Post: Irrigation Agronomist
Grade: 1/M6
Location : Thyolo District Council
Duties
- Prepare weekly, Monthly and annual work plans Prepare training programmers for farmers
- Conduct engineering surveys and data collection
- Coordinate engineering extension, credit affairs and responsible for irrigation management committees toward more responsibilities and direct crop diversification and income generating activities.
- Monitoring implementation of irrigation
- Conduct training needs Assessment (TNA)
- Advice on irrigation policy management and maintenance of irrigation scheme as well as farmers.
Qualifications
Applicants must be in possession Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Agronomy obtained from a recognized University/accredited institution.
