BACKGROUND
As part of its expansion drive, Farmers World Limited wishes to recruit suitably qualified persons to fill the following existing vacancies, which are tenable at its Farmers World Head Office, Kanengo, Lilongwe.

Inventory Clerk

Job purpose
Ensure that inventory transactions are accurate both physically as well as in the Retailing system.

Functions

  • Maintenance of Stock Register
  • Reconciliation of transporter invoices
  • Motoring Goods In transit(GIT), Damaged and Variance Locations
  • Stock balancing
  • Analyzing System Stock Balances and movement
  • Participating Branch Stock take
  • Attending branch inventory queries from Area Managers/Branch Managers
  • Ensure that branch manual invoices are timely posted in the system
  • Pulling out customer invoices/SGAs versus Delivery Notes for AR Accountant.

Experience, Minimum Skills and Qualifications Required

  • MSCE, and a Diploma in Accounting
  • 3 years in a clerical function and computer literate.
