Specific duties
- Assisting in identifying and evaluating IT/System risk areas;
- Providing input to the development of annual IT audit plan;
- Performing audit planning procedures, including identifying and defining issues, developing criteria, reviewing and analyzing evidence and documenting client processes and procedures;
- Conducting audit interviews, reviewing documents, developing and administering surveys and preparing working memos;
- Identifying, developing and documenting audit issues plus recommendations using independent judgements concerning areas being reviewed;
- Assisting in communicating the results of audit and consulting projects via written reports and oral presentations to management;
- Assisting in coordinating between ICT and Internal Audit Divisions;
- Providing recommendations on ways to improve IT audit work processes
Qualification and Experience
- The candidate must possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Management Information Systems or Information Technology from a recognised and accredited University
- Those in possession of CIA, CISA, shall have an added advantage
- A minimum of 4 years relevant work experience
