EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY
The Malawi Broadcasting Corporation (MBC) is seeking to hire qualified and experienced candidates for the following positions within its Engineering and ICT Services Directorate:
ICT Officer – Infrastructure (1 position)
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manages network and storage infrastructure (LAN, WAN, VPN, Internet, and NAS)
- Provides first-line technical support to all users.
- Performs routine maintenance on all broadcasting systems
- Plans and ensures scalability of ICT infrastructure.
- Manages ICT inventories.
- Collaborates with service providers to resolve technical issues.
- Monitors and maintains systems.
- Implements and maintains security measures to protect computer systems and data.
- Any other duties as assigned from time to time
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor of Science Degree in ICT/Computer Science/ Electrical/ Electronic Engineering.
- Minimum of three years of relevant work experience.
- Extensive practical knowledge of TCP/IP and troubleshooting skills preferred.
- Practical experience with storage infrastructure management.
