Overview

Timotheos Foundation is a highly reputable registered Christian Charity Organisation in Malawi. Registered in 2012 with relevant stakeholders in Malawi, its interventions are mainly child caring, education, and Bursary, among others. As the organization grows, activities grow as well hence the need for a Human Resources Officer and Education Officer to fill vacancies in the two departments of the organisation.

In view of the above, suitable candidates are invited to fill the positions of Human Resources Officer and Education Officer. Interested candidates must be computer literate, mainly in word, excel, and PowerPoint. The positions are tenable at Head Office in Blantyre:

Primary responsibility

To manage all HRO-related issues.

Key duties

1. To be responsible for recruitment and all disciplinary actions as per the agreement of the management team and organizational requirements.
2. To be responsible for job offers, induction, and training of employees.
3. To be responsible for all correspondences in relation to HRM.
4. To do shortlisting of candidates for interviews before the actual interview is done.
5. To attend to employee grievances in all areas that require HR attention.
6. To keep employee records and to do all labour-related matters.
7. Communicating with prospective and current employees on all communication regarding them.
8. Regular reporting of HRO issues to the Human Resource Manager
9. To do any other assigned duties.

Requirements:

• The candidate must possess an MSCE or its equivalent.
• The candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree in HRM or Business Administration/Management from a reputable institution.
• The candidate must be a Malawian who speaks good English and Chichewa.
• The candidate must be mature, presentable, well-behaved, and of sober habits with exemplary behavior.
• Experience is an added advantage.

Remuneration

Salary will be commensurate with the grade and scope of the post indicated, as shall be laid out in the contract of employment.
