Job Brief: Our Team in growing! We are looking for a Human Resources and Recruitment consultant. If you are brilliant, energetic, you have an entrepreneurial mindset, you are Techy and you have a track record of HR related content development , we would like to hear from you.
As HR and Recruitment consultant, you have insight and an accurate understanding of human behavior, you have a clear understanding of the HR policy environment and regulations for Malawi, and you are a people’s person. We are looking for someone with a positive attitude looking for a challenging, yet rewarding position.
Terms: Part-time contract (6 months) with possibility of extension
Location: Virtual (if possible travel within Lilongwe)
Responsibilities:
- Content Development
- Creating engaging content on HR related subjects (Blog posts, Cheat sheets, processes etc.)
- Developing HR protocols and SOPs (Including on-boarding, exit interviews, etc.)
- Audience engagement
- Engaging with varying audiences through newsletters, posts, webinars and other means
- Organising and implementing webinars and trainings for various audiences on HR matters
- Directly engaging our Talent pool through tailor-made training and development of resources aimed at educating, informing and empowering them
- Facilitating engaging conversations for our Facebook community members (Facebook group)
- Staffing and Recruitment
- Leading recruitment processes for both internal (WEiNSPiRE staff) and external (WEiNSPiRE clients), including but not limited to:
- Developing and Reviewing job descriptions
- Shortlisting, interview scheduling and interviewing
- Communicating interview outcomes to Candidates
- Leading recruitment processes for both internal (WEiNSPiRE staff) and external (WEiNSPiRE clients), including but not limited to:
- Training records management
- In collaboration with the HR Manager, develop, maintain and update training records including cand training materials
- HR Administration
- Manage HR documentation, such as contracts and employee records, with a focus on accuracy and confidentiality
- Career Coaching
- Providing expert knowledge on career development through coaching, training and CV review for different audiences

Education:
- Bachelor of Arts in Human Resource Management or an equivalent
