POSITION: HUMAN RESOURCE AND ADMINISTRATION ASSISTANT
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Keeping and updating all employee records.
- Assisting in Coordinating, managing and resolving internal; conflicts
- Assisting in Coordinating security matters of the company in liaison with the security department.
- Assisting in Managing recruitment e.g. conducting interviews.
- Assisting in managing the payroll administration.
- Assisting in checking attendance registers and attendance of staff at Head office and all subsidiaries
- Assisting in disciplinary hearing in accordance with labor laws and other safety aspects of the company.
- Assisting in management of loans and advance administrations.
- Identifying maintenance problems for all company property in subsidiaries.
- Facilitate development of weekly, monthly and annual work plans to management team.
- Assist the HRM in resolving any conflicts that may arise between members of staff amicably.
- Approving request for petty cash vouchers ensuring that there is proper justification for such activity.
QUALIFICATIONS, ATTRIBUTES AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Human resources or a relevant field.
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of labor legislation and payroll processes
- Good understanding of the full recruitment process
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Solid problem – solving and tam management abilities.
