Duties & Responsibilities Strategic HC Execution and Advisory
– Translate divisional HC strategies into executable operational HC plans aligned to business unit goals.
– Partner with operational executives and MANCO teams to influence HC decision-making through workforce insights and practical solutions.
– Provide guidance to line managers on organisational structure, workforce design, and capability deployment.Talent Management and Workforce Planning
– Lead workforce planning and talent reviews across the business units supported.
– Drive succession planning and pipeline development, identifying readiness gaps and interventions.
– Collaborate with the Centre of Expertise on internal mobility, attraction, and retention strategies. 

Employee Engagement and Culture
– Coordinate and lead the implementation of divisional culture, DEI, wellness, and engagement strategies across supported sites.
– Analyse engagement results, identify focus areas, and co-create action plans with business leadership.
– Champion the employee value proposition (EVP) to build a positive and high-performance workplace culture.

Performance and Capability Enablement
– Drive performance management processes, coaching leaders on goal setting, feedback, and employee development.
– Partner with Learning & Development to support skills development plans and learning interventions.
– Monitor performance trends and take corrective action where needed.

Organisational Effectiveness and Change Enablement
– Support organisational design reviews, structure proposals, and change management programmes at the operational level.
– Lead job profiling, grading alignment, and competency calibration exercises within the business unit.
– Act as a change agent and drive HC-related change plans.

HC Process Governance and Oversight
– Ensure effective implementation of HC lifecycle processes including onboarding, offboarding, contract management, and employee transitions.
– Oversee and quality-check HC process execution by Consultants and Coordinators to ensure policy compliance and data integrity.
– Partner with Shared Services to resolve escalated process and service issues.

ER/IR Leadership and Case Management
– Lead operational employee relations matters including disputes, grievances, poor performance, and disciplinary cases.
– Represent the organisation at relevant Labour Dispute offices.
– Facilitate employee retrenchments and transfer processes in collaboration with Legal and Divisional HC.
– Monitor ER trends and implement risk mitigation plans.
– Guide Consultants in case handling and ensure proper documentation and procedural fairness.

Project Implementation
– Drive the local execution of HC projects, such as system implementations, engagement programmes, and change interventions.
– Coordinate resources, communication, and timelines to ensure successful implementation across sites.
– Provide feedback to the Divisional Head and CoEs on lessons learned and improvement opportunities.

Data, Analytics and Reporting
– Analyse workforce metrics across business units and sites (turnover, absenteeism, ER trends, vacancies).
– Compile monthly dashboards and strategic HC reports for business leadership.
– Use insights to guide decision-making and highlight areas for intervention.

The Human Capital Manager will be responsible for leading and managing the organisation’s human resources functions to support business objectives. This includes developing and implementing HR strategies, policies, and programs in areas such as talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, training and development, and compliance. The HC Manager ensures a positive workplace culture, fosters employee engagement, and aligns HR initiatives with organisational goals to drive productivity and operational success.

Minimum Requirements Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Capital, Industrial Psychology, Business Administration or related field 

Experience: 6–10 years progressive HC experience, with at least 3–5 years in a Human Capital Business Partnering or HC Manager role, including proven ER/IR case management experience and exposure to supporting operational leadership
