BACKGROUND
Rainbow Rights Education and Awareness Limited (RREA) is a Human rights organization established in 2014 and duly incorporated under the Companies Act No. 15 of 2013.

RREAL is a sub-recipient of the FHI360 award, implementing a USAID/PEPFAR-funded EPIC project.

The organization is seeking suitably qualified and interested Malawian citizens to contribute their high level of expertise to the organization and program through the following position.

Position 3:         HIV Diagnostic Assistant (1)

Work Station:    Blantyre (50% Travel)

POSITION DESCRIPTION

HIV Diagnostic Assistant is a part time  job within the framework of RREA. The person will be responsible for conduct HIV testing using rapid diagnostic tests at RREAs Drop in center (DIC) and various settings, such as health facilities, community outreach programs, and special campaigns.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
·       Provide pre-test and post-test counseling to clients, including risk assessment and reduction counseling.

·       Ensure confidentiality and appropriate record-keeping of client information.

·       Coordinate with program staff on outreach campaigns;

·       Any other duties assigned from time to time.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Aspiring applicants should ensure they possess the following;

·       A minimum of Certificate in HIV Diagnostic Assistant or related field.

·       At least 1 year of relevant professional experience;

·       Excellent communication skills, a strong command of written and verbal English; ability to communicate messages professionally and in an engaging manner.

·       Ability to meet deadlines, multitask, and prioritize workload
