Local Government Service Commission is inviting applications from suitably qualified Malawian candidates to fill the following vacant post existing at Balaka District Council.

Post: Health Services Administrator
Grade: I/M6
Location: Balaka District Council
Responsible to: Principal Health Services Administrator

Qualification
Applicants must be in possession of Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration or Human Resource Management, Political Science or Business Administration obtained from accredited institutions

Duties:

  1. Provide administrative support to health facilities including managing correspondence, reports and record;
  2. Coordinate and manage health facility’s human resource including recruitment, training, and personnel management;
  3. Oversee management of the health facility finances including budgeting, accounting, and financial reporting
  4. Ensure compliance with health policies, regulations, and standards;
  5. Coordinate and manage health facility’s logistics including procurement, Supply chain management, and maintenance of equipment and facilities;
  6. Provide support for health facility operations including patient flow. Scheduling, and referrals;
  7. Collaborate with healthcare providers and other stakeholders to ensure effective delivery of health services; and
  8. Analyse and interpret health data to inform decision making and improve health services.
