Role overview
The qualified consultant will be a health specialist with a strong demonstrated expertise in qualitative research and health policy analysis.
Skills, qualifications and experience
• At least 10 years’ experience in international public health in multiple low resource settings
• At least 5 years’ experience of conducting evaluations or research in the international development sector
• Experience of conducting both qualitative and quantitative research and analysis
• Able to share a portfolio examples of evaluations and research studies and academic publications
• In depth knowledge of community health, health systems strengthening and SRHR
• Good knowledge of the principles of Universal Health Coverage and of the sustainable development goals (SDGs) as they relate to health
• Good understanding of intersectionality and inclusion principles
