VACANCY FOR HEAD TEACHER-PRIMARY
Bright Minds Christian Academy is an accredited Cambridge School located in Lilongwe, Area 49/New Shire. We are looking for Committed Christians, well-qualified, experienced to fill the vacancy of Head teacher.
Matured, experienced to lead Upper/Lower Primary (G1-G6) and Kindergarten team. The successful candidate will be passionate to execute the school’s vision set by the Board of Directors.
- Degree in teaching, over 5 years’ experience as a Primary School Deputy Headteacher/Headteacher or principal at senior level, conversant with Cambridge International curriculum or Abeka syllabus
- Promote teamwork, able to model and inspire excellence and safeguard children welfare.
- Work to a high standard in implementing agreed policies, priorities, and expectations.
- Supervision, Staff Induction/development, mentoring and quality control of teachers.
- Allocation of duties to teaching staff and supervise of student extra-curricular activities.
- Responsible for setting exam timetables, Term timetable (period and work allocation)
- Responsible for School discipline methods and Scheduling of the Staff and PTA meetings.
- Evaluating/approving staff lesson plans/schemes of work for the term and conducting one to one meeting with teachers to assess progress.
