1.0. Position: Head of Department- Languages (1 Position)
Job Category: Administration
Nature of Job: Contract
Contract Duration: 3 years
Remuneration: Commensurate with qualification and experience
Reports to: Dean of Faculty- Education
Responsible for: Departmental Leadership
1.2. DUTIES
- To enhance quality assurance of the Department.
- Coordinate activities for the Department.
- Promote research and resource mobilization.
1.3. PERSONAL SPECIFICATION
a. QUALIFICATIONS
- PhD or Masters Degree in Linguistics or related field.
b. CHARACTERISTICS
- At least 5 years experience;
- Knowledge of strategic planning and its place in institutional management.
- Ability to manage a team professionally;
- The ability to work under minimal supervision;
