EXTERNAL VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

The Malawi Revenue Authority (MRA), an organization entrusted with the assessment, collection, and accounting for tax revenues for the Malawi Government is inviting applications from versatile and suitably qualified external candidates to fill various vacant positions in the Administration Division

 

 

Position                       :          Handyman (Landscape)

Reporting to               :     Administration Manager  

Organization Unit         :       Administration Division

Duty Station                :        Head Office

Grade                           :         E3

 

Specific duties

  • Collaborating with architects and garden designers to ensure expected designs are met;
  • Providing valuable advice to clients on how to maintain landscapes;
  • Acting as a supervisor in maintaining landscape structures and walkways, and in repairing landscapes;
  • Carrying out general routine maintenance of landscapes and associated grass lawns;
  • Ensuring the growth of flowers and other ornamental plants through the use of fertilizer and plant friendly chemicals;
  • Maintaining the landscape design and structures;
  • Keeping inventory of all working tools;
  • Planning and requisitioning for maintenance and replacement of working tools.

Qualifications and experience

  • Diploma in Land Management  or similar from a recognized University
  • A minimum of 3 years’ relevant work experience
