The Malawi Revenue Authority (MRA), an organization entrusted with the assessment, collection, and accounting for tax revenues for the Malawi Government is inviting applications from versatile and suitably qualified external candidates to fill various vacant positions in the Administration Division
Position : Handyman (Electrical) x2
Reporting to : Maintenance Engineer
Organization Unit : Administration Division
Duty Station : Head Office
Grade : E1
Specific duties
- Installing, troubleshooting and repairing electronic equipment;
- Identifying cables and wiring requiring calibration and alignment;
- Monitoring and reporting electrical faults on daily basis;
- Identifying faulty electronic components;
- Drawing specifications for electrical equipment and components;
- Ensuring quality assurance in liaison with Supply Chain;
- Liaising with users on safe use of equipment;
- Ensuring all electrical equipment meets health and safety requirements;
Qualifications and experience
- The candidate must possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized and accredited University
- A minimum of 4 years’ relevant experience

- Proven experience in installing and repairing electronic equipment
