Malawi Accountants Board (MAB)

Overview

The Malawi Accountants Board (MAB) is the regulatory authority for the accountancy profession in Malawi. The Board was established by the Public Accountants and Auditors Act (Cap 53: 06) to regulate the reporting of financial matters and provide direct oversight over professional accountancy bodies, accountants, auditors, auditing and accounting firms and accountancy training institutions.

The Board is looking for young graduates from accredited institutions by either National Council for Higher Education (NCHE) or Malawi Accountants Board (MB) to take up internship positions in finance and technical departments. The positions are based in Blantyre and will be for a period of fifty two (52) weeks.

Eligibility
To be eligible for this internship, you’ll need be a recent graduate from a well-recognized University aged 30 and below. Have a minimum GP of 3.0 for your degree in either Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or Information Technology

Analytical thinker(s) who can overcome a range of challenges, and demonstrate excellent
communication and interpersonal skills

Demonstrate real initiative and resourcefulness when it comes to your work, with a meticulous
approach to problem solving and attention to detail.
