Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Geologist located in Kasungu. The Geologist will be responsible for conducting field work, performing logging activities, mapping geological formations, and interpreting geophysical data. Additionally, the Geologist will oversee drilling operations and ensure that all geological activities adhere to safety and environmental standards.
Qualifications
- Field Work and Geological Mapping skills
- Logging and Geophysics skills
- Drilling skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in remote and challenging environments
- Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Earth Sciences, or related field
- Experience in the cement or mining industry is a plus
- Familiarity with geological software and tools
