A premier destination in Mangochi, Malawi, is seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead our team and ensure the highest standards of service and guest satisfaction.
Duties and responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of the resort’s operations, including guest services, housekeeping, maintenance, food and beverage, and administration.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance guest satisfaction, operational efficiency, and profitability.
- Manage, mentor, and inspire a diverse team to achieve excellence in service delivery.
- Maintain and improve the resort’s facilities, ensuring all areas are kept to the highest standard.
- Develop and manage budgets, financial plans, and performance objectives.
- Foster strong relationships with guests, staff, and the local community.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a General Manager or similar executive role in the hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to think strategically and solve problems effectively.
- Financial acumen and experience in budget management.

- Familiarity with the local market and cultural context is an advantage.
