GENERAL FITTERS
The successful candidate will be reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor and will be expected to ensure efficient and effective installation, repair and maintenance of Plant and Machinery so that they are in good running condition at all times.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
- Prevention of frequent machine and plant breakdown and machine carton loss
- Ensure that faults are attended to as directed.
- Ensure compliance with preventive maintenance schedule.
- Ensure safety procedures are adhered to all the time.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
- Minimum of a good MSCE and must have Grade 1 National Trade Test Certificate in General Fitting.
- At least 2 years’ experience in Plant installation and maintenance in a busy plant based manufacturing environment.
- Those with a Technician Diploma in Mechanics with 1 year of experience will have an added advantage.
- No criminal record
