FOOD & BEVERAGE SUPERVISOR
Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons to fill the post of Food & Beverage Supervisor
tenable at Kalipano Hotel By Sunbird.
The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Supervising the cleaning of restaurant, bars and
banqueting rooms to maintain hygiene standards. - Ensuring that the stocking of sideboards with enough condiments, function equipment, banqueting supplies, beverages and gratis food.
- Monitoring the setting aside of extra linen, crockery, cutlery, glassware, operating equipment in an orderly manner.
- Checking food presentation before serving guests.
- Ensuring that standard operating procedures are
being practiced all the time. - Supervising the display of all types of beverages.
- Ensuring all cash floats are maintained and are intact.
- Managing staffing issues in Restaurant, bars and banqueting areas.
- Producing bars cocktail menu quarterly.
- Any other relevant duties as assigned from time to time.
Knowledge, skills, competences and attributes
desired:
- Diploma in Food and Beverage Services from a well-recognized institution.
- A full Malawi School Certificate of Education.
- 3 years’ experience in a related capacity.
- Cordial and hospitable character.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Good organisational and time management skills.
