FOOD AND BEVERAGE DATA ENTRY CLERK -(INTERN)
We are looking for a data entry clerk (intern) for a period of 4 months.
The duties and responsibilities of the Intern shall be, but not limited to, the following:
Duties and Responsibilities:
Financial Management
Data Entry: Input all financial transactions related to food and beverage operations into QuickBooks, including sales, purchases, and expenses.
Invoice Management: Create and manage invoices for suppliers and customers. Ensure timely payment of invoices and follow up on outstanding amounts.
Expense Tracking: Record and categorize all expenses to maintain accurate financial records.
Inventory Management
Inventory Tracking: Use QuickBooks to manage and track inventory levels, ensuring that all stock movements are accurately recorded.
Stock Reconciliation: Regularly reconcile physical inventory counts with QuickBooks records to identify discrepancies and take corrective actions.
Supplier and Purchase Management
Vendor Management: Maintain vendor information in QuickBooks, including contact details, payment terms, and purchase history.
Purchase Orders: Create and manage purchase orders in QuickBooks, ensuring that orders are accurately recorded and tracked from issuance to receipt.
Administrative Duties
Record Keeping: Responsible for filing and maintaining organized and accurate records of all financial transactions, supporting documents, and correspondence.
Skills and Qualifications
- The applicant should possess an Advanced Diploma in Accounting/Business Administration or Hospitality management.
- Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of financial principles and accounting practices.
- QuickBooks Proficiency: Expertise in using QuickBooks essential but not a pre-requisite as training will be provided.
- Analytical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft excel is a MUST and should have the ability to analyze financial data and make informed decisions.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial management.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
