Job Vacancy: Finance Officer (Full-Time, 3-Month Contract)
Tazaya Research Finance & Management Consultancy (TRFMC), is seeking a qualified and motivated Finance Officer to join our team. This position is tenable in Balaka.
Key Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day financial operations, including bookkeeping and cash flow management.

Prepare and review monthly management accounts and regular financial reports for management.

Perform bank reconciliations and ensure timely financial reporting.

Support audit preparation and serve as a liaison with external auditors.

Implement and adhere to internal financial controls and policies.

Provide training and capacity building for staff as needed.

Act as a finance advisor, ensuring compliance with all relevant financial regulations.
Qualifications
-
Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

Proven 2 years work experience in financial management, reporting, and audit preparation

Strong knowledge of internal controls, compliance, and financial policies

Excellent communication and organizational skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Conversant with tax laws
