Job Vacancy: Finance Officer (Full-Time, 3-Month Contract)

Tazaya Research Finance & Management Consultancy (TRFMC), is seeking a qualified and motivated Finance Officer to join our team. This position is tenable in Balaka.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day financial operations, including bookkeeping and cash flow management.

• Prepare and review monthly management accounts and regular financial reports for management.

• Perform bank reconciliations and ensure timely financial reporting.

• Support audit preparation and serve as a liaison with external auditors.

• Implement and adhere to internal financial controls and policies.

• Provide training and capacity building for staff as needed.

• Act as a finance advisor, ensuring compliance with all relevant financial regulations.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• Proven 2 years work experience in financial management, reporting, and audit preparation

• Strong knowledge of internal controls, compliance, and financial policies

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Conversant with tax laws
