Finance Officer
Grade : P1
Responsible to: Finance & Administration Manager
Purpose of the Job:
To ensure effective and efficient management of financial resources for the Institution.
Key Duties
- Implementing and monitoring short-term and long-term financial strategies.
- Implementing and monitoring financial mechanisms to ensure that all registered members of ME comply with deadlines for annual subscriptions.
- Identifying and recommending investment opportunities.
- Keeping sate financial assets and accountable documents.
- Producing periodic financial reports as required from time to time
- Facilitating budget preparation and expenditure reporting.
- Processing payroll.
- Managing accounting information system.
- Checking payments.
- Producing cash flow projections
Qualifications and Experience
- Degree in Accountancy from a recognised University, with three (3) years practical experience in a similar position.
