LOLC Finance Limited is a non-deposit taking Microfinance company engaged in offering loans to government employees and the Private sector.
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Officer to join our HQ team in Lilongwe. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various financial tasks including verifying PSM updates, bank reconciliations, and assisting in the preparation of financial statements. The Finance Officer will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of financial transactions.
Key Performance Areas
- Verifying PSM updates before loan disbursement.
- Conducting daily bank reconciliations.
- Assisting in the preparation of financial statements.
- Assisting in the preparation of regulatory reports to central bank.
- Reviewing settlement quotation contracts with PSM and providing initial approval.
- Coordinate external audit exercises.
- Assist HOD in preparing the annual budget.
Education & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in finance.

Strong understanding of financial principles and regulations.

Finance experience in a microfinance institution is a plus.

Proficiency with accounting systems and Microsoft applications.
