POLYMED SACCO IS an affiliate of Malawi Union of Savings & Credit Cooperative Ltd (MUSCCO), is a member owned and democratically controlled financial cooperative society that aims at providing quality and affordable financial services to its members

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership: Oversee the finance and credit departments to ensure operational efficiency and regulatory compliance.
• Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare, analyze, and present accurate financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to senior management and the Board of Directors.
• Audit & Compliance: Manage financial audits, enforce robust internal controls, and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
• Investment Strategy: Advise on investment decisions to optimize returns and support the sustainable growth of the SACCO.
• Timely preparation of financial and regulatory reports with strict deadline

Qualifications, knowledge, skills and requirements

• ·Qualified accountant CA(Mw) CPA/ACCA/CIMA
• Those with bachelor’s degree and partly qualified with a professional qualification can apply.
• Not less than 4 years of working experience in the financial financial management within a SACCO or financial institution.
• Demonstrated knowledge of International Accounting Standards.·
• Familiarity and ability to adapt to new software and financial management systems;
• Excellent communication, supervision, management, and leadership skills;
