Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist the Finance and Administration Manager in financial reporting and auditing.

  • Assist in general administrative tasks, petty cash management and banking

  • Devise compliance procedures and oversee their implementation, e.g. grant compliance, and regulatory compliance.

  • Facilitate general financial support as required for the office management and for the projects.

  • Assist in maintaining a strong financial filing system and manage to file the financial documents in both hard and electronic form.

  • Assist the Finance and Administration Manager in Human Resources management.

  • Assist in interpreting and implementing terms of service.

  • Maintaining assets and administrative records.

  • Perform any other duty as assigned from time to time

Qualifications.

  • Diploma in Accounting, Business Administration or a related field

  • Two to three years relevant experience

  • Knowledge of financial management systems including Quick books.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Strong passion for community development and empowerment.

  • Fluency in English and Chichewa.

  • Must be based in Lilongwe
