Location: Head Office Lilongwe

The main Aim purpose of this job is to Supervise and perform all duties of Finance and Administration, Develop and implement finance related policies

Responsibilities (which include, but not limited to):

Finance Duties

  • Using advanced financial analyses and modelling to simulate economic scenarios and determine the present and future financial condition of the company
  • Researching and reporting on factors that influence the company’s performance and analyzing and predicting market trends
  • Developing financial management strategies to reduce financial risk, providing relevant recommendations to maximize profits and assisting executives in decision making
  • Monitoring reporting systems, preparing accurate financial reports and statements, interpreting data, preparing and publishing all financial documents and ensuring adherence to industry regulations
  • Managing accounting, budget, cash flow and reviewing cost-reduction strategies
  • In conjunction with General Manager developing long-term and strategic business plans.
  • Corresponding with external relationships like auditors, Pension Administrators, MRA, Solicitors, bankers and other statutory organizations
  • Bank reconciliations, Salary ledger posting, budget preparation

Administrative Duties

  • supervising all Administrative Staff
  • Manage agendas, External correspondence, travel arrangements, and appointments for the upper management
  • Custodian of Legal documents of the company
  • managing inventory of office supplies, including stationary and multimedia equipment to ensure smooth office operations

Education

A minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Finance, ACCA/CIMA.

Experience and soft skills

  1. A minimum of 10 years’ experience in Managing big and busy company
  2. conversant with QuickBooks accounting package
  3. demonstrate leadership skills and on a senior financial management Position
  4. Proven experience in international trade
  5. Proven experience in developing policies and systems
  6. Excellent in analytical and quantitative skills
  7. Team prayer with excellent communication skills
  8. Experience in supply chain management
  9. experience in warehouse and Stores Management
