We’re Hiring Field Facilitator

This position will mobilize community for asset creation, set up food /cash distribution according to accomplished work norms following World Vision standards and procedures and provide end user monitoring and accurate documentation on all assets created and commodity distributions.

Main Responsibilities

A. FOOD MANAGEMENT AND DISTRIBUTION.

1. Liaise with communities on distribution planning

2. Distribute food entrusted to World Vision to beneficiaries

3. Distribute food to beneficiaries after completing their work norms through LMMS

4. Prepare Distribution Center Visit Reports after distribution.

 

 

B. Project Monitoring Under Ffa.

1. Collection of project documents and forms from the sites and send them to the District Coordinator for the preparation of the monthly distribution plans for every community.

2. Supervise daily work in communities and prepare reports,

3. Based on the distribution plan for each site and actual man-days (Person days), submit food request for approval by District Coordinator

C. Project Reporting.

1. Ensure timely and accurate reports which reflect the true picture of the food assistance projects in the community are prepared and submitted to District Coordinator

2. Prepare monthly and quarterly narrative reports.

D. Commodity Accounting.

1. Ensure that all forms and records are completed and updated periodically as required by FFA requirements

2. Proper accounting of all quantities of food received and distributed at each center.

3. Perform any other duty that may be assigned from time to time.

B. Coordination And Networking

1. Organize community meeting to discuss project implementation as well as challenges, success and solution.

2. Consolidate feedback and action points from different sectors for WV management response and action.

Qualifications

1. Candidates should have a minimum of Diploma in related field.

2. This position requires a mature candidate, a self-starter, with dedication and ability to work with less or no supervision. Must demonstrate willingness to learn and work with others as a team.

3. Candidates should also have at least 1-2 years’ previous experience in a related field.

4. Ability to perform field assignments and willingness to travel for long period of time in difficult terrain, harsh and demanding conditions. Candidates should also be willing to live and work in very difficult and security-risk areas

5. Good command of oral and written English. Computer literacy is an added advantage.

6. A mature Christian who shows a desire to serve humanity and to strengthen his/her relationship with the Lord.
