Invest in Knowledge has been contracted to implement an exciting project with farmers in the south and central regions of Malawi. We are therefore seeking enthusiastic and qualified young Malawians to join our team as field assistants
Ideal Candidate:
- Holds a Bachelor’s degree in any field with at least 2 years of data collection experience; candidates with a diploma/MSCE with at least 5 years of relevant experience may also be considered.
- Proficient in Chichewa, enabling effective communication within the local context.
- Possesses strong interpersonal skills to relate with communities.
- Detail-oriented with a passion for data collection, integrity and accuracy.
- A proactive attitude, with the capability to work independently and as part of a diverse team.
- Strong commitment to community engagement and development initiatives.
- Experience using SurveyCTO
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect and record accurate data from the field to support project implementation and evaluation.
- Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and ensure data integrity.
- Provide feedback on project processes and suggest improvements based on field observations.
- Collaborate effectively with other team members and stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
- Community mobilization
