CK Farm and Cold Storage
Responsibilities (which include, but not limited to):
- Analyzing existing operations, livestock, staff, and financial documents and recommending improvements.
- leading in assessing the senior Staff of the farm in conjunction with HR
- Preparing plans and schedules for lives stoke treatment expectations.
- Visiting both Farms in Ngabu and Nyasa to inspect livestock, and also perform tests on Livestock
- Ensuring Feed, Medicine, and other supplies are regularly restocked.
- Monitoring all repairs, maintenance, and replacement of equipment and machinery.
- Handling the marketing and sale of products produced on the farm.
- Ensuring all staff adheres to health and safety regulations.
- Collaborating with senior staff to prepare budgets and financial reports.
- Monitoring the Farm buyer not to exceeds the Authorized Thresh hold
- Monitoring the Feed preparation and Management
- Inventory Management (i.e. Medicine, Machinery, Feed, livestock)
Education and Experience
- Proven work experience of (5years plus) similar role
- Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management
- Experience in budgeting and forecasting
- Familiarity with business and financial principles
- Excellent communication skills
- Leadership ability
- Degree in Animal science/ Agriculture General/ Agri-Business, or related field.
