Position Overview
We are looking for honest, experienced, and qualified drivers to join our team. Drivers play a vital role in the safe and timely transportation of goods while maintaining professionalism and adhering to safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately document all deliveries and pickups during loading and unloading.
- Deliver goods to designated destinations promptly and safely.
- Keep trucks and trailers clean and in good working condition.
- Follow all road regulations and signage while operating company vehicles.
- Perform routine checks on vehicle engine oil, water levels, and tire pressure; refuel as necessary.
- Inspect trucks, report any issues, and adhere to safe work procedures.
- Notify the immediate supervisor or Workshop Supervisor of mechanical problems or faults.
- Report road incidents to management and follow proper accident procedures
Key Requirements
- License: A valid and clean driver’s license with a Defensive Driving Certificate and Category C1E.
- Membership: Must be a registered member of the Truck Drivers Association.
- Experience: At least 10 years of driving experience.
- Safety: Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and a proven track record of safe driving practices.
- Mechanical Skills: Practical ability to inspect and perform basic vehicle maintenance and repairs.
- Communication: Effective communication skills and the ability to maintain accurate records.
- Character: Honest, loyal, and responsible.
- Conduct: Strictly Alcohol free person.
