Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill the multiple vacant positions tenable at PBM Construction Offices in area 43 and area 25, Lilongwe. Deadline 12.11.24

POSITION: EXCAVATOR OPERATOR (1)

REPORTING TO: Workshop Supervisor/ Project Manager

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate JCB backhoe excavator and related equipment’s
• Perform pre-operational checks, maintenance and repairs
• Excavate, move and place materials
• Dig foundations, trenches and holes
• Assist in demolition, grading and compaction
• Report hazards, incidents or equipment issues
• Work and communicate effectively with construction teams.
• Maintain accurate records

REQUIREMENTS

• Secondary school, diploma or equivalent
• Valid heavy equipment operator certificate
• Minimum 3 years of experience operating excavators
• Experience with GPS Guided equipment, knowledge of construction software or certificate or crane operation will have added advantage
