Our Company is Hiring an Events Coordinator / Administrator
Harvey’s Events Gardens is an Events Centre based in Blantyre Mount Pleasant. We are looking for an Events Coordinator\Administrator to join our dynamic Team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for:
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day to day operations & lead various Teams
- Driving customer engagement & Ensure Client satisfaction
- Taking bookings & Enquiries, Managing the Events calendar, Preparing Invoices, writing Receipts, Stock taking
- Reporting Daily/weekly/Monthly activities, managing issues as they arise during events
- Oversee/Supervise Events from Set up to finish ensuring everything is running smoothly
- Manage logistics, keep a record of Event furniture inventory of both incoming and outgoing & general routine maintenance ensuring everything is in clean, good and working condition
- Work closely with the Management Team to ensure a smooth workflow and relationship
Requirements:
- Effective oral and written communication skills fluent in both English and Chichewa.
- Experience in a supervisory role within the Event field, Strong leadership, &
organizational skills, prompt problem solving skills, - Ability to work under Pressure, in a Team and as an individual.
- Flexible to work weekends and long hours especially at the weekends.
- This role can be part time or full time based on a Mutual agreement

Minimum Educational Requirements:
MSCE is a must, plus A Certificate or Diploma in the Events or Hospitality Industry 1-2 years experience in an Events Supervisory Role
