ENTERPRISE SOLUTIONS OFFICER

JOB PURPOSE
Serving as the primary liaison for the Corporate clients, and responsible for conducting the initial assessment of the technology requirements of respective business entities. Providing the necessary support to complete the business requirements analysis, solution evaluation, and selection while complying with Airtel Malawi Enterprise and corporate governance standards and supporting hardware & network infrastructure.

REPORTING TO THE HEAD-BROADBAND & B2B PRODUCTS, THE ROLE WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
o Managing and leading Airtel ISP for Household and SME and Business Solutions for business segments within EBU (Enterprise Business unit) and achieve annual targets and KPIs.
o Working with various Divisions, i.e. IT, Network, Finance, and other stakeholders to identify, design and launch new products/services within the ISP/ICT domain to the Enterprise Segment.
o Strategically managing services and supporting Corporate Clients, delivering highly efficient & effective connectivity services/solutions.
o Designing & developing products propositioning and initial business case + GTM.
o Identifying opportunities within the enterprise segment and propose new solutions/products to benefit from the opportunity.
o Ensuring new products designs are in line with Enterprise Business Unit strategy and objectives.
o Monitoring and evaluating existing products performance on an on-going basis.
o Developing a mechanism for proactively identifying product related queries.
o Ensuring prompt resolution of identified product related issues.
o Monitoring and tracking the competition offering and market dynamics and communicate product and marketing changes to line manager with proposed reaction.
o Maintaining monthly reports and dashboards and participate in monthly and quarterly business reviews as well as in the annual product planning process
o Working & coordinating with relevant departments like EBU sales, technology, finance, marketing communication & PMO.
o Reviewing, analyzing and communicating relevant information relating to projects and solutions. – Preparation of timely and accurate management reports to reflect the performance of the section in line with company objectives and set operational benchmarks.
o Achieving revenue targets and ISP market penetration Targets
o Achieving business solutions communication & Awareness targets
o Managing solutions life cycle and ensuring efficient delivery of special projects and business solutions
o Weekly sales and business development reviews
o Process assurance through timely validations with Revenue Assurance

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS, ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE AND COMPETENCIES
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Telecom Engineering or Business Management.
• Knowledge of GSM, 3G and LTE
• Cloud Computing & Software Defined Networks (SDN)
• Data analysis
• IT/technology solution testing
• Software process improvement
• IT/Technology service operations and event management
• Relationship management

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
• 2 years’ experience in managing and coordinating IT Technical Staff supporting core technologies and services, with proven record of excellence within the job.
• Ability to build a business case and GTM for each proposed product.
• Rich Technical knowledge of ISP and Business solutions, i.e. Connectivity/E1, IP bandwidth, Bulk SMS, M2M, Data SIMs, Call Center, PABX, short codes routing and hosting.
