Job Description

1 Year Fixed Term contract

Clinical Output

· Provide Health Care to all VMMC clients, in line with your scope of practice and WHO/MOH Guidelines.

· Provide follow-up care in line VMMC MOH/WHO guidelines.

· Conduct wound care management in all VMMC clients

· Conduct and record Pre, and Post-operative care for all clients.

· Identify, classify, record and manage Adverse Event in line with VMMC MOH Guidelines.

· Provide clinical mentorship to other staff members in the Roving Team.

· Provide health education to all clients

Quality Assurance

· Ensure stock availability in procedure room

· Ensure emergency trolley is readily available and well stocked

· Daily damp dusting/cleaning of procedure room

· Ensure all required documents are available for a client to be circumcised

· Adherence to Infection Prevention and Control Standards.

· Follow-up and reviewing of clients should be conducted and documented accordingly.

· Ensure availability and correct Supply Chain Management processes of Supplies, Equipment and Environment.

· Ensure Emergency Management/Referral Protocol are adhered to.

· Assist in verification of all data before reporting.

Reporting

· Compile and submit standardised progress report of the Roving team weekly to line Manager.

· Review all follow-up source documents for completeness and outcome management.

· Ensure that all the outcomes of referred clients are correctly documented.

· Ensure that all Registers are reviewed and prepared for Department of Health quarterly submissions.

Staff Management

· Assist in creating and managing of Roving Team’s facility Roving schedule.

· Assist in identification of training needs of staff and scheduling of appropriate trainings.

· Assist in staff time management.

· Supervise all clinical staff and ensure adherence to VMMC MOH/WHO standards.

· Assist in mentoring and supervision of locum staff.

· Assist in management of locum data base.

· Coordinate staff in-service Training.

· Ensure that the roving team adheres to RTC vehicle policy.
