Chiradzulu District Council is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates of Malawi origin to fill the following vacant posts
ELECTRICIAN
GRADE: M
SALARY : Within grade M scale segment
QUALIFICATIONS
- Applicants must be holders of MSCE
- Holders of Trade test certificate (grade 2)
- Applicants must have Four years working experience
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Install and repair electrical wiring system and fixture
- Install conduits and pipes to house electrical cables
- Ensure pipes complies with electrical codes
- Install circuit breakers and other electrical hardware and connect wiring to them
- Test electrical systems to ensure proper instillations and operations
- Inspect electrical system to determine whether repairs are needed
- Replace circuit breakers, wiring and conduits as needed
- Any other duties relevant to the job
