The Reserve Bank of Malawi is inviting applications to fill the posts of Carpenter and Driver tenable at the Head Office and Blantyre Branch.
DRIVER (2 POSITIONS)
Reporting to the Head Driver, the successful candidate will, among other duties, be responsible for:
The Job:
- Driving Bank vehicles to designated destinations;
- Checking the condition of the vehicles;
- Recording mileage on the requisition form and Log Book;
- Reporting vehicle faults to Transport Officer;
- Refuelling Bank vehicles to ensure that the vehicle has adequate fuel at all times and;
- Surrendering fuel card to Transport Officer to ensure safe custody of the card.
The Person
- A holder of Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE) plus valid PG Class Driver’s Licence and Professional Driving Permit with 5 years’ working experience. Those with Chauffer Certificate or Defensive Driving will have an added advantage.
- Must be between 30 and 35 years of age.
- Must have Customer Care Skills.
